ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS/FAMILIES IN CRISIS SITUATION (AICS)
The Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation is a social safety net or a stop-gap mechanism that helps individuals and families recover from unanticipated crises such as illness or the death of a family member, among other issues. The Crisis Intervention Unit is a specialized unit that serves as an action center for individuals and families in crisis circumstances. It offers integrated services such as urgent rescue/ and protection, direct financial and material help, disaster augmentation, and recommendations for immediate medical, legal, and psycho-social services.
